Peterborough Community Support Court is a specialized court stream that deals with individuals facing criminal charges as a result of an underlying mental health, addiction, or concurrent disorders. It consists of a Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) of Crown Counsel, Defense Counsel, Judges, Justice Workers, and other specialists with the goal of connecting justice-involved individuals to community supports.
